Draft for review. This policy is a working draft and should be reviewed by a qualified adviser before launch.
This policy explains what personal data hunta ("we", "us") collects when you use the hunta Marketplace Fee API and website, why, and your rights under UK data protection law (UK GDPR).
| Data | Why |
|---|---|
| Email address (at sign-up) | To create your account, deliver your API key, and contact you about the Service. |
| API usage metadata (endpoint, request volume, timestamps) | To meter usage, enforce plan limits, bill correctly, and improve the Service. |
| Payment details | Processed directly by Stripe. We do not store your card number — we receive only a customer/subscription reference and limited billing metadata. |
We do not request the eBay listings or prices you query beyond what is needed to compute and meter a response; query inputs are processed transiently to return your result.
We share data only with service providers acting on our instructions:
We do not sell your personal data.
The marketing website is static and does not set tracking or advertising cookies. If we add privacy-respecting analytics in future, this policy will be updated.
We keep account and usage data for as long as your account is active and as needed to meet legal, accounting and tax obligations, then delete or anonymise it.
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, and to data portability. To exercise these rights, contact us below. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
Some processors (e.g. Stripe) may process data outside the UK. Where they do, appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) apply.
